The MOTOTRBO R7Ex is an ATEX and IECEx certified digital portable radio, engineered to provide high quality communications in potentially explosive environments such as oil and gas, petrochemical, mining and offshore sites. It supports UHF and 350 MHz frequencies with digital and analogue signalling, and is available in Full Keypad (FKP) models with a 1.7" 132×90 px colour display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GNSS location tracking, or a simplified Non-Keypad (NKP) model.
Built with a sleek, ergonomic form factor, the R7Ex delivers AI-trained noise suppression, SINC+ single microphone noise cancellation and IMPRES audio technology with programmable loudness up to 108 phons. It is IP68 waterproof up to 2 metres for 2 hours, IP66 rated against concentrated water jets, rugged to MIL-STD 810, and features a disinfectant and decontamination substance resistant housing.
